Office Administrator and Personal Assistant to the Director

Grade 5: Salary £22,971 - £27,428 p.a.
We are seeking an Office Administrator and PA to the Director to join the Graduate Admissions and Funding Team for a maternity cover period of up to 14 months. You will be a key member of a lively and committed team which is responsible for ensuring Oxford has the very best admissions processes and funding opportunities for its graduate students. Your diverse work will cover supporting HR and business processes for the team, managing the Office's finances, supporting meetings, enquiries and general office administration, as well as providing PA support to the Director. This full-time position is available from mid-May 2011 and is based in the University Offices, Wellington Square.
We are seeking a strong team player with a flexible approach, and first-rate organisational, financial management and IT skills, who will work systematically and to a high level of accuracy. You should also have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will have a proven ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload in an efficient manner, deploying tact and sensitivity as necessary.
