Responsible for oversight of the financing production process
Responsible for recruiting, training, ongoing management, monitoring and assessment of mortgage production and processing personnel across mortgage production group
Recruit and develop staff in accordance with departmental and business needs.
Proactively develop, plan and implement strategies and initiatives designed to increase mortgage production while maintaining risk quality
Recruit, train, mentor and monitor Branch Production Sales Managers as direct reports
Utilize outstanding communication skills throughout the organization that will build cooperation
Develop a sales culture by developing the employees sales and service skills and focus working through the department leadership to build coaching skills and delivering a constant sales and service mentality
Work directly with Human Resources to recruit and upgrade production personnel
Prepare or review and deliver performance appraisal and evaluation for all mortgage production and processing personnel
Assist related groups in new product development, review new product recommendations and determine market acceptance and potential for the products
Coach, train and develop production personnel, assist in training other related areas such as mortgage underwriting, closing, appraisal, quality control, etc.
Keep abreast and implement required adjustments to credit policy as related to government regulations, analyze new regulation to determine impact on mortgage production and corporate goals
Work with management to locate and evaluate additional production locations and staffing requirements
Coordinates with the technology manager regarding systems capabilities, limitations, etc.
Assist in the development and effectively manage the sales and service incentive program to maximize sales and service delivery, facilitate employee accountability and reward top performers
Review current mortgage production personnel and highlight gaps and weaknesses in current coverage, performance measurement and/or methodologies
Train, mentor and coach as needed to maximize production and efficiencies
Approve exceptions to existing standards on a case by case basis
Partner with the Director of Credit and Closing manager to manage the mortgage portfolio to meet profitability and quality objectives
Develops scorecard algorithms, reports and users manuals for mortgage production and processing departments and internal customers.
Provide project management support for various initiatives by providing work measurements and metric reporting.
Provide direct sales and training support for all mortgage production personnel
Meet with clients to answer queries on production related issues
Respond to questions or exceptions reported from the Quality Control group
Document, and ensure communication of key risks
Performs other duties as assigned or required
Skills
A strong assertive leader with skills in obtaining results through teams, skills in negotiations, and problem solving
Knowledge of management concepts, methods, policies and procedures and familiarity with products and services
Residential mortgage banking experience a plus
Formal bank credit training a plus
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Proven leaderships and ability to drive improvement and change
Exceptional organizational, analytical and research skills.
Demonstrated understanding of the mortgage production process and related IT systems
Expert knowledge of industry and market standards and trends.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in use of computer hardware and software applications.
Experience building scorecards and reports using MS Access preferred
Ability to travel 25% plus

Arab National with Real Estate experience. This position is salary + commission.
VP, Mortgage Production management level executive accountable for development and execution of mortgage production, sales and processing that meets corporate objectives, is compliant to all regulatory requirements, consistent with risk tolerances established and implemented by the Director of Credit and the Board of Directors. Serves as the lead for MFCs service to the public. Responsible for developing and facilitating the Mortgage Finance Companys sales and service culture with the objective of outstanding service to the customer while constantly increasing production and improving the service provided. Responsible for recruiting, training, ongoing management, monitoring and assessment of financing production and processing personnel across mortgage production group.
